i started with an ugw of 70kg. yesterday, i weighed in at 70.7kg - which is very almost there. this is a progress shot, a before and during - its not a before and after because i still want to lose a bit more fat and gain some more muscle. but i’m extremely proud of the change nonetheless. i’ve gone from someone who would eat huge amounts of junk (chocolate especially) and barely exercising at all to someone who enjoys eating well and loves to keep moving - that’s not to say i don’t still eat chocolate though. just not every day, and in much, much smaller amounts!
i’ve really enjoyed the journey so far. its been hard work, and there are still days now where i feel fat. and i’ll probably always have days where i feel like that, but i just have to try on some clothes from when i was actually fat to remind myself how far i’ve come. and there have been days where i’ve eaten terribly, or weeks that i’ve hardly exercised at all. but the most important i’ve learnt is that its about not giving up. one bad day won’t ruin your progress, or even a bad week, at that. i learnt to accept that whats done is done, i can’t change the past.. but i sure as hell can change my future.
